I mistook 'per annum' as 'per month' for salary question.
Even though i got everything right except this.
Probably,i will lose around 5-8 marks.
I forgot Mrs Woo's warning when she was with us teaching partnership topic.
I suddenly remembered her warning as i went home.
And i remember something.
On the midst to take over Chang-an,Capital of Wei state,Zhuge Liang was thinking over again and again which general he want to send to defend Jieting.
Ma Su volunteered but Zhuge Liang hesitated because defending Jieting has the hugh bearing of importance.
Should it fail,everything Zhuge Liang planned and won the battles will collapsed at once and fail.It spell they will be totally trapped by Sima Yi whom Zhuge Liang spreaded the rumour about him usurping the throne.Unfortunately,Sima Yi was immediately restored as the replacement of commander for Wei have failed time again and again to Zhuge Liang.
At this crucial point,Zhuge Liang was presuaded by Ma Su by putting his life on the line.On top of that,he send another general,Wang Ping who is very careful and cautious person to aid Ma Su to defend the Jieting.
Sadly,Ma Su want to camp on the mountain while Wang Ping told him pros and oons for his decision and suggest to camp on the ground.
Ma Su didn't heed him!
In the result,Ma Su camped on the mountain while Wang Ping camped on the ground.
Sima Yi had easy time to attack Ma Su.Thus,the battle of Jieting was LOST!
Zhuge Liang quickly packed everything home!
On the way,he was at the Xixian overseeing all the grains transported.He want to leave nothing to Wei.
However,there was no soliders defending the city.
Sima Yi and his soliders were on the way there!
Zhuge Liang was struck and tried to think of solution.
And so he commanded to remove the banners and ask people to resume working as per normal.
He played lute unarmed in front of Sima Yi and his soliders.
Seeing no armed guards and knowing Zhuge Liang's reputation,Sima Yi and his soliders retreated as he heard peaceful tunes from Zhuge Liang's playing in fear for traps!
Successfully,Zhuge Liang pullled a bold front trick and quickly ran away.
The man who informed Zhuge Liang that every grain was ready to transported asked him where his main army we had.Zhuge Liang replied that he had no main army with him and he had only empty town and lute!He was so shocked that he dropped the book!
Yang Yi told him that if he were Zhuge Liang,he would ran away.Zhuge Liang said that if we ran away,we wouldn't gone far before we were caught as there were no generals.
Brilliant thinking even though he sweated a lot after Sima Yi retreated.
Back at Hanzhong,he ordered to behead Ma Su as promised.
He weep because he suddenly recalled his late emperor,Liu Bei warning.
Liu Bei before his death warned him not to use Ma Su because his words exceed his deeds and give no important assignments.
Zhuge Liang deeply regret that he didn't heed as it turn out to be true.
He submitted his request to demote his position.
After recalling this incident from The Romance of Three Kingdom,i thought it was too late to revert anything.It is only common test.
I will remember this hapenning Zhuge Liang deeply regret the most.
Zhuge Liang was simply brilliant.I hope that i will be successful after my heroes.
