My theory approach to life
I want to bring attention to young readers. I believe that there are a lot of young people but they have different mindsets. There are only two mindsets. One is young mindset and other is mature mindset. Regardless of age, this factor count when they gain such experiences. Not all experiences will 'upgrade' your mindset from young to mature. I know that people like to rebut that saying whehther all experiences can change mindset. I am afraid that it is not true because the gravity of the experience is the key. If it has too low gravity of the experience, it will not make your mindset from young to mature. I am writing it as i had conversation with Ka Ho relating about it. more or less!

How did i arrive to this kind of conclusion?
It is simply to say that there are a lot of people at early 20s or even 40s having young mindset not realising the game of the life.

What is the game of life?
It is the thing that is toying and tearing you with so many unexpected events and outcomes in your life. Unfortunately, to certain degree of understanding life, not all can easily withstand them. WHY?!?! Humans are too fragile including those tough people.

Do you really think that it is up to you to make a decision?
I once remembered that Mick remarked that he quitted his studies due to lack of money. Being independent from his parent at age of 16, he tried to earn money to continue his studies. The factor that cause him to make a decision is lack of money, independent and failure to realise the avenues to earn money is forcing him to quit.
It is very unfortunate thing for him especially the moment he say if he realise it earlier, he may have continue studies.
I hope that everyone should remember that the decision to make is not up to you but the factors u are facing where game of life is presenting you. Either you choose one of few options in your lifetime. I think naivety come to this picture when people think it is up to us.

I have bought a book called Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill. I happen to know this book when i read sourcing for finance and investment books to enrich my knowledge. Some few local people recommend it beside its popularity among Americans.
After reading first few pages, i was so impressed on how Napolean pointed out during his research on rich people in America. From this point, people fail to have success or do not dare to do such plan. It is because 1)they do not set any goal but stupidly aim for non-existent target and 2)they have too many thoughts that will translate into fear preventing you from doing something. I feel that this book has more substance than Adam Khoo's book that focus on simple and basic layerman's terms.
It came with a lot of real-life successes as example to explain why he prove this way during his research. I am simply impressed.

If you think degree is the path to silence people outside, you are much mistaken then. Degree and master degree are for us to enrich our knowledge and further picking up new technical skills(especially finance). Such comments like 'You got no degree ah' and typical comparison shouldn't stop you from doing something like being a boss. I can point a person who is my classmate since secondary school. He is boss of a joint-veture pub with no diploma or degree. He is considerably earning money and making some investment on mini concerts. You can be boss right away without degree but you need capital or trusted partner.
Let me remind you once again. Human is truly fragile enough to be affected by this kind of comments. One who don't even bother about this comment and stick to the aim to achieve will have a lot of success.

Sim Wong Hoo
IT-savvy people will know him as boss of Creative. Interestingly, he told TNP that he just do whatever he learn regardless it is right or wrong. According to him, he usually get few As,some Bs and plenty of Cs in his diploma. It is certainly to strike you that he is going to fail as a boss. Sadly for you guys, he became sucessful by selling popular sound blaster sound cards that is the main factor on why Creative is still alive out there buying few companies. I hope that it should remind you that degree is not key to be successful boss or silence such comments like that.

Warren Buffet
If you are not convinced, let me bring few more real life examples. I shall start with Warren Buffet. He is one of the best investors in the world.
Buffett has amassed an enormous fortune from astute investments managed through the holding company Berkshire Hathaway, of which he is the largest shareholder and CEO. With an estimated current net worth of around US$52 billion, he was ranked by Forbes as the third-richest person in the world as of April 2007, behind Bill Gates and Mexican businessman Carlos Slim Helú.
Although he completed his studies until master degree, the level of study enable me to analyse so well that he only buy shares that is different from mass.
During the bullish market, people branded him as stupid not taking the chances to earn more money. Can he silence them that he has master degree? He can't because people will continue insisting that he is stupid not to do it. In the end, he is right not buy any shares during bullish market period because later on the stock market went bearish sending many people into financial troubles and bankruptcy! Yet,he is only one floating alive in the stock market with his company up there.
It is great example why master degree is not a solution to silence such critics and 'comparison' comment. All you need is character, ability to use employee's skills correctly, use own resources wisely and ideas. They are 4 key components to your success!

Henry Ford
I discover some of his interesting life from Think and Grow Rich book.
Ability to use employees' skill correctly: he told his engineers to develop V8 motor. They were so flabbergasted that they thought they couldn't develop it because it was IMPOSSIBLE. IMPOSSIBLE? Let see.6 months later, his engineers couldn't find how to make it. 1 year later, no result. Ford told them to carry on doing it insisting that he want V8 motor. They continued and by the stroke of magic, they discover how to develop V8 motor! It is one example why 99% of people in the world give up instantly after finding out the solution for a long time. I dare that you can be the one who will give up instantly! Don't try to snigger at this example and it will happen to you.
Another example about him made me laugh like mad! During the first world war, newspaper branded him as ignorant pacifist. Of course, without any question, he was so furious that he sued them for libel. In the court, the lawyer tested him by asking questions about general knowledge to prove whether he was ignorant. As he was tired of lawyer's tactics to test him for general knowledge. He said ,"If i should really want to answer the foolish question you have just asked, or any of other questions you have been asking me, let me remind you that i have a row of electric push buttons on my desk, and by pushing the right button, I can summon to my aid men who can answer my question i desire to ask concerning the business to which i am devoting most of my efforts. Now, will you kindly tell me, why i should clutter up my mind with general knowledge, for the purpose of being able to answer my questions when i have men around me who can supply any knowledge i require?"
It really floored the lawyer and every person in the courtroom realised it was the answer, not of an ignorant man, but of a man of knowledge.
When i saw this statement, i was deeply impressed and understood why there is a need of the ability being able to pick the right choice of employees who can do the job properly.

Richard Branson
Branson was educated at Scaitcliffe School (now Bishopsgate School)until the age of thirteen. He then attended Stowe School until he was fifteen. Branson has dyslexia, resulting in poor academic performance as a student. He was the captain of football and cricket teams, and by the age of fifteen he had started two ventures that eventually failed: one growing Christmas trees and another raising budgerigars.*Taken from wiki*
Look at him, he has no degree, diploma,A level or anything else and yet, he still went on to be successful businessman in all kind of industry.

Filippo Inzaghi
I chose him because he don't give much concern about comments on him. Sir Alex Ferguson once remarked about him that he was born in an offside position. Of course, the statistics show that he has a lot of offside against him. Not only that, Dutch legend Johann Cruyff has said of Inzaghi, "Look, actually he can't play football at all. He's just always in the right position.". Despite of that, he still score goals and receive a lot of medals including hard-to-win world cup medal! He is a good example why we don't bother about such comments like that as long as we are doing the right things.

There are a lot of people who have such young mindset thinking that things have modernised today by calling 21st century. Foremost, i want to point out that there are successful business methods that are very conservative and traditional.
Brick and mortar business is still favourable method for many people in the world but however only mature guys with adult mindset will support this method and prove you that e-commerce can't simply replace it entirely despite of few advantages.
Few advantages such as low operating cost, wide range of crowds and etc seem to be very favourable to e-commerce and in the end people still want to go out and buy common things from outside their home(offline). A lot of e-commerce businesses failed so miserably because they did not meet the requirements. Rash decision without considering to meet the requirement to do e-commerce business. Many more other reasons concerning it are something you can easily figure it out now or even later.

The next blog entry will be focus of various investors and one or two philosophy about religions and life of genius. New additional will be book reviews.

クロサギ(Kurosagi)(The Black Swindler)(Japanese Drama 2006)Click here for official Website
Synopsis:
Yamashita Tomohisa plays Kurosaki, a young man whose family was destroyed by swindlers. Despite that, Kurosaki grows up to become a con artist known as Kurosagi. As Kurosagi, he swindles other con artists and returns the money to the original victim. He works with the master swindler Katsuragi Toshio (Yamazaki Tsutomu) even though Toshio had a hand in the destruction of Kurosaki’s family.
Kurosaki's life begins to change when he meets Yoshikawa Tsurara (Horikita Maki), a young law student who disapproves of his disrespect of the law. Can she persuade Kurosaki to give up swindling and his quest for revenge?
Based on the hit manga series by Natsuhara Takeshi with artwork by Kuromaru serialized in Young Sunday magazine.

Opinions:
Adopted from manga, it was simply brilliant show. I cannot believe how wonderful swindling job is. One of the few episodes involved about stock exchange struck my amazement seeing Kurosaki swindling few ten million from the a guy who prefer to play slow and patient swindling strategy. What make me surprised is that the guy still swindle whole japan for few hundrend million yen despite of losing money to Kurosaki. It is really amazing. I believe that if there is 'Robin Hood' now, you probably see the crime being reduced. Having a 'Robin Hood' or 'protector', the common crime in Malaysia will be reduced already by then. Fact: Law can't protect you all the time! I think it is true and so don't take your own life and things too lightly!

Rating:9/10

美满人生(Mei man ren sheng)(Singapore Dreaming)(Singapore Movie 2006)

Synopsis:
Big Dreams. Small Island. What are You Dreaming of?

Opinions:
The reason i bother to watch this Singaporean movie is that few local mature people who have watched tons of movies think well of this movie. I decide to take the chance to watch it and i am quite impressed on how director portray how mid-20s Singaporeans tend to think too big without knowing the consequence and the requirement. I think i recommend to every young Singaporean to watch this movie. Ka Ho should see this movie and he will realise what the pitballs are so that he can prepare himself for such problems.

Opinions:
I am not truly fan of musical movie. Probably coined from usual singing and dancing scenes from indian shows, it totally bored me although it is very very decent movie.

Goal II: Living the Dream(Uuited Kingdom Movie 2007)

Not too bad. It is little comedy to those who know or love soccer.

잘 살아보세(Jal Sara Bose)(Mission Sex Control)(Korean Movie 2006)
Synopsis:
In 1971 birth control was a major policy drive of the Korean government. Nevertheless, one poor farming village went against the trend, boasting the highest fertility rate in the country. This peaceful Yongdu Village receives an unwelcome visitor, the national family planning officer Hyun-joo, to oversee the villagers nocturnal pleasures. However as a single lady with little experience of her own, Hyun-joo finds it nearly impossible persuade the residents to use contraception. She finally appoints the village head Suk-gu as the local support officer and thus begins the “0% Birth Rate Project.” Appointing him brings more turmoil to the villagers and when the President comes to inspect…

Opinion:
It is very good film with unique genre story. It is really unbelieveable surreal thing for me because people who are in my age or are born after 1980 will find this kind of policy unthinkable. However it is true in China who enforce one child policy countrywide. The good side for this is to control the population but the few bad sides are black market to buy children and abandon people who are disabled(sometimes girls). This movie should be shown to every chinese in China to educate themselves to leanr how to plan family! Indeed, singaporeans are very good at family planning but unable to match the current government needs to grow the population in order to get its economy strong as long as it reach to certain number of population in Singapore. The ending is very sad. Young people should watch it and learn how to do family planning! Beside that, i have no idea if Korea really did that in real life at that year.

Rating:8/10
Bonuses:1)simplistic way to understand why family planning is very important 2)great acting from two main characters 3)the story seem to be too true for one.

Beautiful Sunday(Korean Movie 2007)
Synopsis:

One day, a man named Min-woo visits KANG to make a confession that he killed his wife accidentally but KANG realizes that there’s a connection between his murder and the accident of his wife.

Opinions:
It really test your mind so severly that you will have perceived that you have two different personalitiies of two persons in you. The director brought a powerful 'tool' to make you feel like one

Rating:6/10
Bonus:1)A sad story with little expected ending will render you dumbfounded.

Illnesses
Just few days before diploma semester 4 examination start, my uncle from my mother family had passed away. From what i hear, after eating dinner, he had a short rest or was watching television. Out of the sudden, he fell off the chair. A loud thud took my aunt attention. My aunt who was in kitchen washing the dish was asking him what is going on and he was not responsing. She came out of the kitchen and tried to rescue. The neighbour tried CPR and at the same time, she called for ambulance. Unfortunately, he died at hospital. The cause seem to be heart attack.
I must say that it was shock and sudden happening.

Fortunately i spent few weeks to study Business Finance, Operation Total Quality Management and Computer Application for algebra before it happened. It took 3 days to hold funeral.
With this happening, i was practically thinking that this pig year which i am born in the year of pig was not good year for me. I hoped that my thought wasn't true.

Friends
Junbin literally offered me about the investment on a taiwanese company that sell network products. According to him, putting few ten thousands will effectively give you few thousands return each month. Of course i told him that i am not taking this offer. Since he has invested such money on this company, it seem good deal for people who want passive income like that. However i am abit skeptical.
Based on my logic analysing, when there is no black and white inkling on how much you invest on this company, it will be disastrous if the company close down or ran away with the money.
It will be safer if the company sell normal bonds to you.
Upon hearing that he don't want to work under boss and prefer to sit down and earn money(after all, he is the owner of a simple pub), he swore that he will never touch stock exchange in his whole life when i offer a suggestion of investing money in stock exchange.
Woah.it is one quick thought but i doubt it will last lifetime.
People thoughts eventually change all the time. For instance, Gabriel once told me that he would not touch beer or liquor no matter what circumstance or benefit it is. In the end,he did drink due to his peer pressure.*rolling my eyes* It is one living example proof that people's thoughts do change.

Grace is gentle girl but too naive for her own good. She claim that her belief based on her childhood experience will never change. What the fuck..I was thinking in my mind ,"Come on..you must be stupid to say that." It is ultimate fact that people thoughts do change once they gain such experience that their thoughts do not really work in this way. Thoughts always eiter modify to improved verison of thoughts or change to the correct and sensible thought.
What is her childhood thought? It is 'No time' thinking. I was wondering what she do after class. There are so much free time to revise her studies!!!!How can she have no time to study until the end of the lesson? There are two possible reasons.
1)She has poor time management. 2)She never put studies as her top priority not until the end of the lesson.
She claimed that she has time management. I am quite doubtful but in any case, if you want to study, you have to give up something temporarily. After the examination, you can do what you want. It make a sense.

I was really surprised that Ka Ho and Grace changed their mind. Originally they were not keen studying in UOL because of its non-project and once-a-year exam format. But now, they were applying UOL.
Ka Ho is taking Accounting and Finance while Grace is taking Banking and Finance.

Reading and Knowledge
Nowadays i have been reading a lot of finance information and investment. I always like to read and find out public's opinion especially individual ones.
Indeed like what Adam Khoo wrote, it is true that many people dimissed this 'fairy tale' to earn big buck just because Warran Buffet and some successful investors/entrepreneur were smart.
SMART?!?!?! I think they are making a big mistake to think that way. It is possible and realistic path if you work smart by studying and understand the information. I don't think it has something to do with smart or luck as a big role of success.
Yes, luck is one of the factor but it is really the smallest role of success. The biggest role of success is to work smart and get your 'homework' right.
I am still finding and understanding the information until i am ready to make investment.

Warren Buffet
When i found out that he began investing at age of 11, i was in awe that he was mentally ready for such work. He started to have passive income at his young age.
And i am impressed that he is not going to give all his wealth to his kids.
I would do the same likewise for my kids because my future kids need to learn how to do work based on their interest and passion.

Comments
I will be revamping my website by using frontpage to make use of what i have learnt.
Furthermore, i will not be using any ready-made web design from someone else. Watch it out!

Weird incidents which happen one after another. Entangled series of frights and mysteries lead to a shocking climax.

Opinions:
I really like Erika Sawajiri. She has unique look and she is sort of my type but i won't put her among favourite actress list of mine. The first i saw her is from One Litre of Tears. I think she will be famous and one of A-list star in Japan.

Rating:7/10
Bonsus:1)Decent horror story, 2)there is good amount of suspense keeping you wondering how to put he curse to end.

바람피기 좋은날(A Good Day To Have An Affair)(Korean Movie 2007)
Synopsis:
Two bored housewives have affairs with two different men they meet in online chat rooms. As their relationships developed into offline relationships they often pass each other unwittingly in the hallways of the motels where they meet their lovers.

One day, the lady known as “Dew” is in a room with her aged college lover. Suddenly, her husband bursts through their door, along with police officers that he brought. The other lady known as “Small Bird” is in a adjacent room listening to what’s going on in the other room. Small Bird whispers to her lover to be quiet, because the police officer in the other room is her husband

Opinions:
The title look cheesy to me. Out of curiosity i watched it. To my surprise it was philosophy thing towards love and viewpoints of bored housewives. I wasn't bored watching this whole around 1 hour 49 minutes movie. I recommend to those who are at the age of early 20 onwards. There is a young male actor. I remembered that i saw him acting in a korean drama show in the role of high school. I was surprised that korean cast decide to include him in the film where he has to touch boobs and butt of older female actress. It show that Korean is pretty open minded unlike Western and other Asian counterparts in film industry. *thumb up* It call for realistic show. i bet that he is younger than me! I can understand why many married women have affairs because of not being in sync with their husbands. It is really no surprise. For goodness sake, it is better to marry someone who bring spark in your life rather than a killer look with no ability to spark your life.

Rating:7/10
Bonusus:1)Good philosophy 2)nice plot

About two months ago,i feel sad because i read sad real-life story online and then TNP followed it up by publishing it.
The working lady died due to DVT(deep vein thrombosis). How? She worked for long hours too often(around 1 month). Frankly speaking, it is ok to work long but not too often but once a while. Why does she stop it?She want to keep her job since the company she work in seem to be prestigious in her mindset.
I want to take the opportunity to remind you that we including myself should not sit too long in one fixed position or inactivity. I think it is the first case in Singapore if i don't know about the others locally. However it is very common in Japan. I can say that it is not worth to overwork to fulfil your desire but it is important to know how to work smartly not to work hard. Maybe a case of penny wise and pound foolish!!!!

That is why HR education is needed to avoid this kind of thing. Mick and Grace don't think highly of HR subject. To my eyes, it is a powerful tool to minimise the conflicts and maximise the morale in workplace. My advice to you all is not to ignore insignificant matters/things. Sometimes insignifican matters/things or ordinary work can make huge difference!

Mick asked me to pick a book written by Adam Khoo and Conard Lim from Adam Khoo company. I agreed and went there in the wrong date. It was one week earlier! Alamak...my mind was so clogged that i can't even remember what the date was at that time. But then i managed to arrive the desination without any problem after a careful look on the map at Tanjong Pagar MRT station. Frankly speaking, i thought i lost the ability to locate the building like before. It is already 2 years since i last hike around Singapore. I realised tat i came one week earlier when the lady pointed out the collection date. It mean that i have to come again in one week later!
I was surprised to see HDB flats at outskirt of Tanjong Pagar. They are old flats and i believed that they were there for around 30 years or even more. I think it is good place to live in despite of its small room. It is because of quiet environment and quick access to CBD and city.

I had already read the book and return it back to Mick. It was written in simplistic manner that Singaporean can understand easily. It also mentioned what Warren Buffet did. Before reading it, i knew very little of Warren Buffet and now, he gain my respect for having such investment acumen.

I also want to be investor but not exactly like Warren Buffet. I am more interesting doing investment in unique way. That is me all right. The man who doesn't follow the crowd! Haha.

Talking about Adam Khoo,i don't think highly of him. So as many people on online forums. They shot back with statement like if his method is really good, they should be millionaire by then. In my opinion, it is all about how you apply them in such situation. But i do agree some of Adam Khoo's thoughts on some area.

I took nearly 1 month to study all 4 sujects. At normal rate, DMS students are learning 3 subjects. But i have to study 4 subjects due to my application for UOL degree course. To qualify UOL degree course with my current diploma course, i have to attend bridging course for mathematics so as to check if i am qualified to study this course.

I enjoy every moment of what i did on the last paper which is mathematics. I took 3 hours(the exam is also 3 hours as well)to write answers as well as workings. I hope that i can do like this for degree course. Actually,i felt that it was like 1 hour instead.

Sadly, i am abit disappointed that i made few minor mistakes for Finance exam. I practised on more than 50 questions to understand the finance.
I am quite conscious how i do with finance because it is my future path enabling me to calculate the risk, rate of return and as well as finance strategies.

Letter from Iwo Jima(Hollywood Movie 2006)
Synopsis:
The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi is given command of the forces on the island and sets out to prepare for the imminent attack. General Kuribayashi, however, does not favor the rigid traditional approach recommended by his subordinates, and resentment and resistance fester among his staff. In the lower echelons, a young soldier, Saigo, a poor baker in civilian life, strives with his friends to survive the harsh regime of the Japanese army itself, all the while knowing that a fierce battle looms. When the American invasion begins, both Kuribayashi and Saigo find strength, honor, courage, and horrors beyond imagination.

Opinions:
It is a japanese viewpoint for this film which is opposite of Flags of the father(american viewpoint and yet same story). So far,the graphics is not so spectacular as Flags of our father. But the story is pretty good and well directed by the same director, Clint Eastwood.

Rating:7/10
Bonus:1)Great directing 2)the crews who were acting as japanese soliders were impressive in action including well-known japanese actor, Ken Watanabe

Peeping Tom(Hong Kong Movie 1997)

Cop Jade Leung makes it her mission to take down the bastard. Mark's response: to pretty much announce that Jade will be his next victim.

Opinions:
I can see why some people kept saying that CATIII movies in 90s are much better than today's. Good plot and unbelieveable rapist.

Rating:6/10
Bonus:1)Good plot

Rough(Japanese Movie 2006)

Synopsis:
"Rough," however, begins badly, with mugging, over-the-top gags, including on-screen captions for puns. Then, just as I am resigning myself to two mildly excruciating hours, the film rights itself and became a straight-ahead drama, with jokey interludes, which traveled the usual genre arc toward the triumph of true love, but with unusually interesting insights into the characters of its two principals.

Opinions:
It was quite nice movie for light-hearted people especially couples. i really liked the story

Rating:7/10
Bonus:1)Wise choice of actors and actoresses 2)good chemistry in acting for male and female lead character 3) nice love thing

Full Metal Jacket(Hollywood Movie 1987)
Synopsis:
A two-segment story that follows young men from the start of recruit training in the Marine Corps to the lethal cauldron known as Vietnam. The first segment follows Joker, Pyle and others as they progress through the hell of USMC boot-camp at the hands of the colorful, foul-mouthed Gunnery Sergeant Hartman. The second begins in Vietnam, near Hue, at the time of the Tet Offensive. Joker, along with Animal Mother, Rafterman and others, face threats such as ambush, booby traps, and Viet Cong snipers as they move through the city

Opinions:
With the fact that it is old movie, i didn't like Stanley Kubrick's film directing style even through he is well-known figure in hollywood. I watched it because people in the world rate this film among top 100 films of all the time.

Rating:6/10
Bonus:1)good story

The Secret Lovers(Korean Drama 2005)
Synopsis:
HJH plays a character who is so poor that she lives in a place which has a roof that leaks everytime it rains. She dreams of being a popular writer like JK Rowling- the author of the Harry Potter series. Even through these financial struggles and let downs, she is a character that retains her cheerful and positive charms.

KSH plays s guy who is smart well educated and from a rich home.

SSM plays a plastic surgeon, who has grown up in an unhappy but rich home. She has to decide whether she wants to marry for love or have an unhappy but financially suited marriage like her parents.

KOJ plays a guy who is poor but portrays a rich guy image to the rest of the world.
He wants to be a male Cinderella, and seeks a rich woman to marry.

Opinions:
I was hooked after watching first few episodes and i like this kind of cinderella thing. I like the fact that the girl who is quite materialistic began to fall in love with boarish guy who tried to be male verison of cinderella. He just want to be in the state where he have enough money to keep him afloat not wanting to leave the life where he have to worry about his expenditure and his inability to buy branded clothes. On the other side, there is a guy who has rich family and like very poor girl who can't even afford anything. Exactly, her status put him off a lot and keep him thinking twice before wooing her. The ending is brilliant. No matter how many failure let you down despite of putting up a hard work, the success will pay you off if you perserve and improve yourself.

Rating:6/10
Bonsus:1) Nice cinderella story of male and female verison.

Material Girls(Hollywood Movie 2006)
Synopsis:
Two wealthy sisters, both heiresses to their family's cosmetics fortune, are given a wake-up call when a scandal and ensuing investigation strip them of their wealth.

Opinions:
I was not thinking anything about good in this movie. With no expectation, i was surprised that it has considerable amount of intellgent plots around two not-so-smart ladies. As the story go, indeed people only suck your blood when you can give them some advantages and however if you turn into disadvantage and they will avoid you like plague.

Rating:6/10
Bonuses:1)two very sexy and pretty ladies as lead characters

The Perfect Couple(Korean Movie 2007)

Synopsis:
Romance can bloom out of the strangest events. Sometimes even very embarrassing ones.
Running after a pickpocket, Detective Kang Jae Hyuk (Lee Dong Wook, My Girl) finds out how pungent journalist Choi Soo Jin's (Hyun Young, The Art of Seduction) personality can be when the fish stick she was eating magically ends up stuck to his rear end. Is it destiny, love at first sight? Not quite. But the two start to form a formidable alliance: he's good looking, a great fighter, and a good detective. And she's determined to change the world for the better by putting those who make it a filthy place behind bars. Together, they make The Perfect Couple.

Understanding right from the start that what makes comedy work are gags and the actors who deliver them, Kim Jung Woo made his directorial debut in 2006 with the low-key high-returns comedy Oh! My God. Starring comic veterans Choi Sung Kook and Shin Yi, the film was a surprising success, with over 2.5 million admissions. Kim, who started his career as a screenplay writer alongside Taegukgi director Kang Je Gyu, comes back with The Perfect Couple, showing Lee Dong Wook in a new light and once again taking advantage of TV star Hyun Young's explosive comic talent.

Opinions:

Then Maggie Fitzgerald walks into his gym...

Opinions:
Indeed i was thinking of female verison of Rocky Balboa but in this case, the film turn out otherwise. The ending left me good impression of the story. Clint Eastwood earned my respect by acting and directing this movie. It was so seamless that i continue watching despite of having lack of sleep owing to Champion League Final this morning.

我在政府部门的日子(Just follow the law)(Singapore Movie 2006)
Synopsis:
Directed by Jack Neo, the film takes a satirical look at the inflexibility of outdated governmental rules and regulations and the rigid mindsets of local civil servants who follow rules to a fault, charming and delighting audiences with its humorous and perceptive insights.

Opinions:
Surprisingly, i am quite impressed how Jack portray them in such way. I have to agree with his viewpoint on them although there are a lot of valid arguements from some professors(not in the movie). But it is better to apply according to case basis. It is very tough to achieve one because no one know the exact way to do it.

Rating:7/10
Bonuses:1)Well-done movie 2)too true for a movie

그놈 목소리(Geu nom moksori)(Voice of a Murderer)(Korean Movie 2007)

Synopsis:
The film, ``Voice of a Murderer,’’ was inspired by a 1991 kidnapping. It remains too faithful to the horrific crime, coming across more like a long reconstructed television crime docudrama. The only difference is that some of Korea’s biggest stars are cast in the leading roles. In the film, Han Kyong-bae (played by Seol Gyeong-gu) is a successful television news anchor whose peaceful life with his wife, Oh Ji-son (Kim Nam-ju), is crudely interrupted when their 9-year-old son is kidnapped.

Opinions:
WHAT THE FUCK.The frictional story is based on real life happening!?!?!?I can't really believe it. Once again, korean film industry standard has shot to excellent promising future.

Rating:10/10
Bonus:1)real-life story, 2)stunning plot by kidnapper cum murder 3)Top class acting by male lead actor, 4)excellent film direction, 5)you will feel something like shocking after the movie end

This medical drama portrays the lives of resident doctors, their ups and downs, depicting crisis in a hospital as well as politics among management staff.

Opinions:
It is unique medical related drama show unlike Hong Kong,Japan,Singapore and Taiwan counterparts. I was impressed and surprised that the directing team did bother to explain what medical lingo mean by words in Korean whenever the characters mention medical lingo. Not only that they even dare to show whole Korea how operation should be like inside the operating theatre. At the ending part, the crew team went to a hospital to have quick and short interview with few doctors.
AJA AJA Bong DAL HEE! Hey, Ahn Jong Geun's character is a bit like of me as in being expecting oneself to do work perfectly.

Rating:9/10
Bonsus:1)realistic love sub-story in a drama, 2)big eye-opener scenes inside the operating theatre 3)actors and actress are acting well and in sync, 4)new faces did well.
