Anhyong haseyo!

음란서생 (Eum-ran-seo-saeng)*Forbidden Quest*(Korean Movie 2006)

"With vastly different results, the ingredients of sex, satire and the Choson Kingdom proved to be recipes for success in such films as ``Untold Scandal’’ in 2003 and the recent blockbuster ``The Royal Jester (aka King and the Clown).’’ The same elements are combined in the latest film ``Forbidden Quest’’ in a manner that proves to be highly creative and entertaining before losing steam in the latter half.

The Choson period, often presented as an Asian equivalent of Victorian-era England, seems a perfect setting for a bawdy sex romp. This is doubly true for its upper ``yangban’’ class, who are the epitome of reservation and restraint.

And there is no yangban more restrained than Yun-so (Han Suk-kyu), an expert in literature and art whose mousiness borders on cowardice. Called by the queen to solve a case of art forgery, Yun-so teams up with yangban detective Kwang-hon (Lee Bum-su) to track down the criminals.

When they find and capture the forgers, however, Yun-so also discovers a book being painstakingly copied by hand. The criminals, it turns out, are in the business of publishing erotic literature, written by anonymous authors.

His curiosity peaked, Yun-so decides to try his hand at the genre, rationalizing it as an intellectual exercise. But erotica begins to take over the shy yangban, opening up a new world and getting his creative juices flowing. It also becomes a way for him to sublimate his repressed urges, especially regarding the flirtatious queen (Kim Min-jung), who is transformed into one of the main characters in his stories. Yun-so even recruits a flabbergasted Kwang-hon, convincing him to use his talent for drawing running horses into creating lewd illustrations for his books."

"Yun-seo comes across an 'indecent novel' by chance. Hesitant to read such a book at first, he is soon inspired to write one himself. He even asks his family rival and infamous captain of guards, Gwang-heon, to draw the illustrations for his books. Their book "Heukgokbisa" is soon the most talked about in town and is eventually read by Jeong-bin, the king's favorite concubine. With Jeong-bin's involvement, two men are soon drawn in a tricky web of palace intrigue."

The title gave me an impression that it was some sort of sword-fighting action.
But then it is RA21 rated movie depicting 'steamy' ideas.
I am stunned how the story go like.

There is a scholar serving for the Korean government and he was no 1 recognised writer In Korea. But then, catching some culprits who tried to create false printing, he heard that whole korea was antipacting a indecent storybook(it is defined as the story of how man mate with woman.there you go..i am so kind to write with much discreet.) It was written by another writer who is not well-known or recognised.
Having a short peek on his book(saw the word "gentials"),he couldn't resist the temptation to write indecent book.

The empress fell in love this scholar...
The king did not know...
The queen arranged the first meeting outside the palace with this scholar to have rendezvous. When the queen hugged him earnestly, he resisted and ran away.
On second meeting, the scholar was given the choice to arrange the place....
The horrible or probably saddest part is leeting an illustrator writer to watch the engaging 'mating' because he could draw the unusual position how man do with woman.

the storybook was completed and spread..
Gossips about scholar and queen appeared..
hell went loose..
Scholar did not want to reveal the illustrator name to the queen. In turn, queen decide to get king to force scholar to tell the name but queen covered up the affair and cooked up the story.

you can sense that "one lie out,all heads will roll" when the king knew the truth.
But the result was opposite..King loved the queen and so he didn't kill the queen and the scholar..
He said "the one who love the most is the loser" because he thought that the scholar was the loser in the first place.

I can understand the king feeling...sad though..
Love someone but yet someone don't love you at all.sad and frustrating feeling.
Should clear up the air and sort out.

Ending was not too bad but a bit anti-climax.
The scholar was banished to quiet and isolated place..
the book manufacturer and illustrator visited him and this scholar has new idea to write the story.
BUT!it is about gay!
~_~ i guess brokeback mountain craze is still on and hitting everyone.

I definately recommend this movie to all ladies(not young girls).I doubt that men will enjoy it at all because it has too much substance unlike porn*peng*

Delicious Proposal (Korean Drama 2001)

16 episodes
Wah...all new stars including kwang sang woo was there because he wasn't that famous in 2001..
Only became famous after his stint in Stairway To Heaven(2003)

"Hyo-dong(Jung Jun), the son of a struggling chinese restaurant ower, falls in love with Hee-ae(Son Ye Jin), who unbeknownst to Hyo-dong is the daughter of a ruthless rival who is out to destroy his father's restaurant. Hyo-dong and Hee-ae are in the same cooking class as Shin-ae(Soh Yu Jin), a poor girl who dreams of owning a successful restaurant despite having a tough life."

Son Yeh Jin...wah so innocent-looking woman i ever seen but she certainly attract a lot of good-character men.

Hyo-dong's motto "When there is the way, there is a will"
Hyo-dong's father's master motto "You lose one but will gain one"

Indeed,there is a triangle relationship...
Hyo-dong manage to capture Hee-ae heart because they have common interest(good character, cooking)
It is like....Hee-ae cooked and then Hyo-dong will taste it and help her what is missing.
*i wonder whether my interest will compliement with a girl in future. If not, be single like that*

The horrible thing is to seperate hyo-dong away from Hee-ae...Shin-ae lied to Hee-aethat she was engaged to Hyo-dong.
(i can say that a lie can easily spoil one's opinion and relationship.that is why i do not want to have an opinion on someone too easily because making an opinion is truly killer of your life.why waste your life making wrong opinions and u don't get what u want)

finally, the two families feud ended....so much pride not to admit that you are in the wrong.

Rating:7/10

Watching two shows...
having a feud with someone is the worst thing and the childlish thing to do
Why childish.only kids can easily developed the hatred heart to someone.
Adults don't do this but fight with fists or backstabbing.

It really waste your time and by the time you realised ,"HEY!i never knew that carrying hatred took so much effort and time from me.I regret doing it"
And there you go..

I am thinking next blog entry should be written the cruel things which human can never accept.
Maybe i write that.
