チープラブ (Chiipu rabu)(Cheap Love)(Japanese Drama 1999)
Junichi is a scout recruiting girls for work in night clubs; but in contrast to what he does, he is actually a sentimental person at heart. Nanami, who is a music teacher at a junior high school, wishes that something would happen to change the course of her ordinary life. Being from a high-class family and having committed to an arranged marriage with a government official, she and the street smart Junichi are from two different worlds. Their initial meetings always ended in disdain for the other, but when Junichi helps her find some sheets of music precious to her, she begins to think that he could change her life. Although it goes against everything that her upbringing has taught her, Nanami decides to give him a chance
My opinion/impression:
Nanami was living a life that repeat over again and again(work,go home, sleep, wake up,the process repeat). She was sort of tired of this lifestyle and gave herself a try to places where she had never been to.
By chance, she met Junichi..Junichi changed her life.
Junichi isn't degree holder.he is merely working as one of those jobs that well-educated people look down.
At the same time,Nanami's family arranged a blind date for her in hope to have her marriage since she was currently 29 years old then.
The man Nanami's parents arranged for blind date is an civil worker.
The U-turn Nanami made is reject him and be with Junichi..quit her job as teacher when jealous guy post a picture of her and Junichi to every teacher in school.
From what i see, Nanami did not make a mistake because she learnt something how it is like.
Something that is not taught by books or person..it had to be done by going through experience.
That is where many people are afraid to be in this kind of situation as Nanami and they easily bulk out due to its family pressure and so-called "what-is-good-and-what-is-bad" talk.
If you have not tried it, you won't understand at all.
It is somewhat similiar to what i mentioned in previous blog entry.
Some want rich friends..some want smart ones..others want 'bad' people..some want punks..They do it based on their own background and lifestyle.

Saishu Heiki Kanojo(She, the Ultimate Weapon)(Japanese Movie 2006)

Saishu Heiki Kanojo (a.k.a. She, The Ultimate Weapon) is based on the hugely popular anime series of the same name. Also known under the titles Saikano and The Last Love Song On This Little Planet, it tells the story of quiet, introverted high school girl Chise, who is madly in love with Shuji, a confident, arrogant athlete. They both go to the same high school in Hokkaido, but it takes Chise all of her courage to tell Shuji about her feelings for him. The two hit it off and form a strong, loving bond, which only intensifies when war breaks out in Japan.
But Chise has a secret, one so dark, so terrible that it may threaten not only her relationship with Shuji, but also her life, his life and the future of the entire country. For Chise is no ordinary girl, she is the ultimate weapon of mass destruction, a genetically engineered cyborg built specifically for military use - and when she goes into battle she strikes fear in everyone around her, including her own troops. On the battlefield she has been dubbed the "Goddess Of Death" and with good reason. Starring Maeda Aki (Battle Royale) and Kubozuka Shunsuke (Hibi), Saishu Heiki Kanojo is a dark, angst-ridden exploration into the very troubled mind of a seemingly innocent girl, handed the power to destroy the world.
My Opinion/impression:
the mecha on girl is damn chio especially it is in complete stage.
Too bad,the ending is quite sad.
