I miss my old lifestyle and my friends a lot. I even nearly forgot my classmates in my previous course. So far i am regularly in touch with Eugene and Ka Ho(this time i shall spelt out his name correctly.*laughing out loud*)! The rest?Maybe too busy with work or school stuffs.
Let me count few friends i kept in touch.
Recently,i get to meet my long time friend, Mick. He was so radical that he offer to bring all priated dvds he bought from malaysia in order to watch LOST season 2,Prison Break Season 1 and Amelie. Because he was waiting from his favourite online store, hollywoodclicks.com to get ready for loan. In a big picture, a lot of people in Singapore were queuing up for those dvds and he happened to be among the queue.
If only he direct this kind of character into selling, i bet many people probably attract by his gentle and interesting talk.
I also brought up the topic about stock market exchange with him and he was interested to learn how stock market exchange work out like.
I must say that 'stock market' thing run in my blood especially when my parents are into it. My mother is now 24/7 investing on SGX shares and reading all past records of each company from the monthly 'SHARES' book guide(chinese verison)!Today, i read TNP and one 'Dr Money' article shocked me the most. As far as i know, i always thought the profit margin is small when investing on SGX shares. Someone tipped the writer of 'Dr Money' article with the information how to make around 1000 per cent per week.
Orginally, the writer did not know the answer from a reader's question('Doc,i have $10,000 in the bank.I must grow it to $25,000 by the end of next month.Please tell me how.")
I tell you..i am really surprised with the percentage of profit man!!!!!!!
If it is like this,i gotta fucking do like this once i garnered enough experience and understanding. It is good as if you don't need to work. But to be sensible, we have to work for salary.Why?why?Secure your old age retirement.

Funny part of him is when we were having some sort of party to catch up with our primary school mates. When we were playing daidee, Mike was saying something about the gambling stuffs. Mick rebutted his opinion and took out the evidence to back him up.
GUESS WHAT!The evidence is the book about how to gamble in casinos.
I was laughing out loud when i saw it. Mike exclaimed that it was nuts to show.Even Mike's friend was showing middle finger at him.I can say that he is truly hardcore gambler.
When i asked him, he says that he is some sort of semi-professional gambler.
He prefer to play poker than any other forms of gambling.
He earn my respect because he earn money by gambling online!He consider it as his job.
Where can you find such person in Singapore who is willing to turn his hobby into a money-earning job!
Truly admirable friend i ever had. I don't really care how bad gambling is.
Next friend i kept touch is Junbin. My secondary school friend..He always proclaim that he is not gangster ever since Sec 1. After N level, he suddenly appear with tattoo on his front and back of body. I was stunned and questioned him. FOR FASHION?
~_~! Those are dragons or something..a sign of secret society member.
But still, he is a bit cranky guy but quite friendly.
I think he learn a lot of lesson during the life period between after N level and after NS.
I remember his msn nick is like no future and regret for not studying hard.
HEY PRESTO,the next thing is he open his own pub with his partner.
He is only one year younger than me and he got about $30,000 in his bank. He used them for capital..
If it is true, he has my respect for saving a lot of money till that time.
Not easy feat i presume.
Suddenly one day after i went home from shopping, he msn-ed me that most of our secondary school classmates and friends were going to his pub. Jesus Christ,it was fucking last min invitation. That is why he is a bit cranky for such reasons.
In the end ,i never went knowing that it is not worthwhile to leave home at 11pm especially when i just came home.
But certainly, i probally visit his pub soon.
Next friend i talked is Arthur.
He is brilliant friend i ever had. He has unique way to communicate and i simply like his sense of humour. A lot of interesting stuffs he told me.
He told me his future plan. I can see why liberal lifestyle is very attractive to him ever since he lived England few years ago.
I do want to experience liberal lifestyle even though i know how it is like.
Here in Singapore, you do not have much freedom to do anything that is beyend the boundaries. Pity... Singapore is lovely country and what make it so bad is the culture lifestyle.
BAH!It take a long time to see such liberal culture lifestyle in Singapore.
When i told him that biology sciene run his family blood and he humbly said that his brother was higher calibre than him because he used to stuy Hwa Chong JC and now currently study in Imperial College. I was fucking impressed with his education resume. Why i am so impressed? Let me tell you..to study consistently in high level education is tough. It take your fun life away. NTU or NUS is something i don't consider them as high level education.
Even though i used not wanting to study in elite school but now i have this desire to learn in high level education. If i did it, i can say that i have experience this fucking highest level of study stress and i am proud that i can survive.
That is what i think.I had too much fun when i was young and now i don't mind giving up 90% of fun life for degree study overseas.
I wanted to study in LSE(London School Of Economics). Sadly,my mother want me to stay in Singapore because she want me to accompany her even though we have some sort of money to afford it.
It is like a dream now unless someone give me this opportunity.
I am in awe of humble people who went UK or America to study and i don't envy the ones who went to Australia for studies.
He told me how english proficiency was like in UK. Native speakers are much hard to comprehend especially their slang but he still loved how they spoke among each other.
Next and last friend i ever talk is Ka Ho.
Ka Ho wanted to clarify on what i wrote about him in last blog entry.
He is great guy and took the chance to discuss with me about it. There is no shame and it is good to talk about it.
I understand that it was vague. Let me take the chance to elborate why we should improve our english proficiency. He lived Singapore so long even though he born in Hong Kong. He have some traits of Singaporean.
I don't mind that Ka ho have this trait of Singaporean i am going to write. Just to enlight Ka Ho about it. I can say that he is much better than many average Singaporean when come to talking in terms of english proficiency.
Infamous trait Singaporean have is that they are so lazy that they are so quick to tell/write 'short-cut' sentence. I realised when Jamie Yeo highlighted it.
I entirely agree on what she said.When majority of male Singaporeans were dismay claming that she is whore for western guys but i thought otherwise.
My foot, it is serious one.
It is like saying 'i go and bath' rather than 'i need to take a bath because i just came back from playing soccer on the muddy pitch'
If we were to say in short-cut way, people would end up asking us questions for the reasons. Just in my humble and earnest opinion.
Singlish is ok. But why not take few cents worth to say a bit more feeling on what you think or want to do rather say 'i
Maybe you don't agree now but one day you probably realise how powerful tool english can do for you.
I know Zhongming was like that.
I hate the way how people prefer to listen teachers than your trusted friends.
Zhongming only realise when his lecturer kindly told him after he finished his own presentation.Bloody hell, i remarked about it to him few times in the most polite or kindest way i can do and he didn't see the point until that day.

That is what i am trying to convey to Ka Ho when he have a lot of vocabulary to choose to express his feeling rather than one word to sum up everything.
I loathe the most is that some foreginers don't even try hard enough to communicate people in proper way. What they do is telling me broad sentence/question. For pete's sake, they need to use more words to get the meaning exactly right for me to answer rather than giving 10 different sentences for one question. I know one guy but i prefer not say his name. Obviously, he is some sort of wasting money spending on english lesson in my humblest opinion. in fact having to learn english for few months is no excuse. Hady and David are good example why they can speak simple and proper english even though not at the best. Surprisely, they are Indoesians. I wonder Indoesians are capable of understanding english proficiency well enough?
Ruo Nan is another admirable girl. Despite the fact that she came from China,i can see that her english proficiency is fast improving. She only learnt it for few months. I think she can reach the level where Wang Wen is beacuse Wang Wen live in Singapore for few years which mean she has learnt english quite long.
Unfortunately for other China comrades, they may be slow learning english but i am quite comfortable.
I always have a dream when i am not feeling well. The dream to conclude why the wars erupted.
I am hugh fan of 'The Romance of Three Kingdom','World War 2','Warring States', 'the ending era of Zhou Dynasty' and 'Japanese civil war'but don't like 'Water Margin'.
You know i always want to interact with people who have real talent.
The way i see the past and present, i conclude that it was easy to find real talent in the past because many people are uneducated and those poor ones emerge out to be the heroes of era. Unlike the past,it is hard to find the real ones present because many people are well educated. It is like searching a pin on the beach!
Again, i realised why my idol, Zhuge Liang always win and was well-respected by many people.
The way he deploy army always have few thousands or ten thousands less than enemy. Likewise, i used to prefer to play hugh number of army to attack enemy base in Starcraft game until Mick encouraged me not to pay attention on the number of army.
I think it really make a sense.
The smaller army it is,it is easy to attack at once when the time is favourable and also withdraw.
What i like Zhuge Liang about is that he always calculate the strategy and 99% of enemies fell to his trap.
Reading and watching his strategy patterns again and again, i sort of figure how to execute it.
Too bad, it was so sad that Zhuge Liang never fulfil Liu Bei's wish to restore Han Dynasty.
To repeat attack enemy again and again after withdraw too many times for some circumstance is really sudicial ones. Zhuge Liang did it again with much success but until the 7th campagin against Wei and Sima Yi..his life cut short and died for overworking.
In this story, my tears overflow as his great talent couldn't realise the day!
That is why i don't like to repeat challenging the same person on the same spot again and again in any kind of situations like soccer game. Unfortunately, Junqiu is one of those who like to repeat dribbling past the same guy again and again within 2 minutes. It is one sure receipt for disaster when the opponent is getting more wiser and familiar with your pattern. IF ONLY, your mind has so much creativity and then the opponent could not read you at all!
Err..i like army stuffs like setting up strategy, training people and go on.
Too bad there is no war but i rather not want to see World War 3 to happen again.
I bought a lot of war related movie dvds. I want to see latest Korean Movie and drama..I am lining up for Air City, 200 pounds beauty movie and Couple or trouble drama.

The Patton(Hollywood Movie 1970)
Synopsis:

Opinions:
I was not a fan of world war 2 and i don't know details so much until i saw Patton and Band of Brothers. I was so thrilled how allies attacked Germany. I like how Patton create the plan that oppose his ally's commander from British.
Not for him, Allies would have took more years to end the World War 2.
Kudos to Patton!

Opinions:
BRILLIANT!I love the way how allies soliders had to suffer under the makeshift roof against mortar bombing by germany.
A lot of things to tell but i can say it rock!
The former Easy company leader was fucking bastard trying to relieve talent sergeant.
Fortunately,he was removed until he swallowed himself the day when the sergeant became major.GREAT JUSTICE MAN!!

Finally, i saw this movie at Vivo City with Junqiu and Kok Wai at late night.
WOW I am shocked with the ending. It is pretty good although i don't like how the move run especially when it is heavily edited and modified.
Synospis:
Shinigami own notebooks called "Death Notes" which are used as killing devices. Whoever's name they write down in a death note will die within 40 seconds. Shinigami Ryuku accidentally dropped his Death Note in the human world where it's found by honor high school student Raito. With the death note actually having directions in it for its use, Raito discovers he now has the power to discreetly kill people, and with this new power he plans to change the world in his ideal world by killing off criminals. Eventually the governments of the countries around the world notice the unusual amounts of deaths of their criminals, and figure out someone is behind them, but they have no way of discovering it themselves. That's when they hire L, a master detective, to find out who is behind the murders.

good movie especially the part i laughed the loudest!
I like L a lot in this movie but neutral for anime verison. HAHA
I like L's conviction. It help L to expose Yagami Light in front of cops that he is truly Kira by puttng his life on the line till 23 days later.

When Jack kills the thug who was supposed to kill him, the sociopathic Cox's plans are ruined. Jack must race against time to get his family back before Cox and his fellow thugs carry out their murderous plans.
Opinions:
Good plot but sometimes you need moments that make people's heart thumping at times.
That is what movies are about especially how it create the feel in your body. It is very interesting how high-tech bank robbers gotta do without using the gun in the usual scenario where common robbers will pull the trigger by brandishing the pistol in front of the bank tellers as well as the cameras.

Brilliant movie with good twist.It left me opening my mouth while thinking why the ending is like that. Tottally opposite of what many people would have thought.

Synopsis:
Set in a future Earth (2035 A.D.) where robots are common assistants and workers for their human owners, this is the story of "robotophobic" Chicago Police Detective Del Spooner's (Smith) investigation into the murder of Dr. Alfred Lanning (James Cromwell), who works at U.S. Robotics, in which a robot, Sonny (Tudyk), appears to be implicated, even though that would mean the robot had violated the Three Laws of Robotics, which is apparently impossible. It seems impossible because.. if robots can break those laws, there's nothing to stop them from taking over the world, as humans have grown to become completely dependent upon their robots. Or maybe... they already have? Aiding Spooner in his investigation is a psychologist, Dr. Susan Calvin (Moynahan), who specializes in the psyches of robots.

By the time it came out on dvd, i wanted to watch it badly but i couldn't have a chance until today.I managed to see it and i was impressed with the standard of the acting and story plot.Surprisingly good!

Opinion:
Superb plot to keep you in suspense.I like the strategy parts how submarine fight against another submarine. Guess what?I am quite addicted to battleship and submarine warfare. I highly recommend you to buy this dvd for your entertainment but it is very rare find!

I am totally stunned.Brilliant film focusing on the feeling between a couple.They were torn because of this woman who was pondering whether her boyfriend was tired of her face and body...Little wonder!You will know the rest of it once u see this movie.
I believe that this movie will certainly make many people to think twice before making comestic surgery!You have this face and my little humble advice is for you not to alter yourself for greater look. I am truly shocked how the story go by! Love is not a game!

Synopsis:

Opinions:
Sad story with once again sad ending. Unexpected love when he thought that he was looking for a fling. It turn out that she was the one he wanted,not to discard her.

Umizaru:Limit of Love(Japanese Movie 2006)
Synopsis:
Search-and-rescue diver Daisuke Senzaki finds himself in a life-or-death rescue situation that not only tests his will and physical limits, but forces him to come to terms with personal issues of love, trust and redemption.
Opinions:
Once again, Japanese film industry is trying hard to maintain the standard. The evidence is this film other than box-office hit death note. A lot of emotions and heart-wretching are there for you experience as you watch this film. It is all about hope. Don't give hope too easy when it is within your sight but just that it is making things difficult for you to reach. It is understandabe to give up too soon because it definately dampen your mroale. Once again, i stress that you should give a try one more time until you know the result. That is how i do it.
Wow,i like the ending song.

Synopsis:

One day, a bold, sexy saloon girl Yeon-ah attracts Young-woon’s attention. Even though he already has a pretty fiancée, he can’t turn down the chance to have fun in this new relationship. Gathering together with his friends, this couple repeat a process of fighting and making up. It seems incomprehensible, but it is a ‘real’ love to them. One day his mother discovers this relationship, and she suddenly sets a wedding date for him with his original fiancée.
Opinions:
Yet another good love korean film. It is really sad. It is hard to decide which one of two girls you should be with. If i were him, i don't care how good reputation she have and i would probably want the one i want to be with very badly.
Pity, he couldn't make a decision. Fucking idoit. She can do anything for him.
It is increasingly dangerous game if i put myself too deep like that. I am forever cautious for one thing. That is be sure that nothing be like that and i keep female friends as amiable relationships as a friend. If you have seen this movie, you will be sadded.
Vietnamese classmate of mine asked me some questions whether he should pick one of two girls.
I say don't be too loyal and just think of the one you really want the most. Although i am very loyal person but i don't place too much loyalty on one girl unless she is my wife.
Just like my idol Tony Leung to Carina Lau(unconfirmed girlfriend of his).

Synopsis:
The year 1988 saw a bunch of flashes in the pan in the pop music industry, and has-been rock star CHOI Gon was one of them. After his only hit song 'The Rain and You', he became involved in drug problems, mob fights, and now sings in a café in the countryside. He one day gets into a fight with one of the customers at the café, and needs bail money to get released from a lockup. Desperately trying to free him, his manager PARK Min-soo comes up with the solution to send CHOI Gon to a radio station in a far, remote town in the suburbs as a DJ, so that the radio station can pay for the bail. Helpless and bewildered, CHOI Gon now has to DJ in front of a few dozen listeners…
Opinions:
Indeed, it is not easy to keep fame that long. He unknowingly discover the fame back by coverting from rock singer to radio DJ. It really touched me a lot when i was reminded how i took so much pain to convert to fully-fledged english speaker. When i was in primary school, my teacher remarked that my english is broken. But still, it never strike me down like a lightning. Although, she trained me to learn phrases, proverbs and vocabulary. I only realise that english is really powerfull and interesting language to write and talk when i enter secondary school. With sufficient background from what i am taught from my primary school teacher, i went on learning more and more such as cutting down singlish and infamous Singaporean 'signature' which Singaporean simply loved to say 'shortcut' sentences like 'i go home'. It is not wrong but it is better to write or say a bit more feelings. If you say based on my opinion, everybody probably love you for telling about yourself a lot without indirectly making them to ask questions.
In similar fashion, this particular singer was unwilling to be DJ but he try his best to do what he can do. HE DID IT!Everybody in Korea are tuning to his radio channel!
Fight Club(Hollywood Movie 1999)
Synopsis:You're young. You have an easy, well-paid deskjob. You have a condo, Swedish furniture, artistic coffee tables and a fridge full of condiments. Yet you feel emotionally and spiritually empty. You eventually find comfort in going to support groups for lukemia and cancer victims when there's nothing wrong with you until they're hijacked from you by another faker. Then you meet Tyler Durden, a man that shows you that not only can you live without material needs but that self-destruction, the collapse of society and making dynamite from soap might not be such a bad idea either.
Opinions:Poor starting story but great middle and ending story. I can see why it is one of top 100 movies voted by people in the world. But really, it is fantastic physiological story how two split personalities in one person behave differently. When you can't do what you really want, the another personality kick in and subconciously do the actions that you never done before.
That is what i am talking about in few past blog entries. I am afraid of that.
To be in dark side or to be in bright side. I know my other side personality.. Guess what..
It is 'i can do anything.No fear in me and all you see in me is my fucking big guts to do impossible action'. You don't get to see me in that personality. Why? I negate it away by doing a lot of things that i really want. I am still in bright side where my personality is quiet,cool and polite.
And you guys should take note of your other side of personalities!

FWAH!I am very impressed with the love story. To see a lady pass by. It struck him like lighting. This lady is the eye of his beholder. Although he doesn't like her getting sex by strangers when delivering coffee, the catch is that he withdraw a lot of money to pay her debt.
That is what i like about. When you love someone, you should fucking give up something!
That is one part of true love i have been talking about. Don't you know that if you have read my past blog entries that are dated one and half year ago! Another shocker is that after he married her, in few days later he discovered that she was already married by someone. He gave a thought about it and still, he want her.YEAH once again,i am talking about the same fucking thing. If you love someone,you must tolerate the pain!It is not over yet!ANOTHER SHOCKER!
She got HIV virus..meaning AIDS!Only weak men freak out and ran away. But not this man. He still hang on her..He doesn't care and still want to live with her. If you ask me,my heart is crying man! When can i do like him? i never have the day to do like him!It is fucking good film and it won some awards. After watching it,i told myself that if i have a chance,i will definately treat the one i love a lot like what he did.

Fucking crack thing for me. I aspired to be some sort of banker or any position for me to work in the bank. This Andy Dufresne as a banker went to jail and helped all prison cops how to crook the law by not paying the tax. Amazing but still i simply love it. It simply continue my dream and i am gotta fucking make it happen! WATCH ME!

Opinions:I long wanted to see this movie ever since it went out. It was during my primary school time. It took few years to get this film to watch. Finally, it is quite not too bad movie.Full of actions at the middle and the ending of the storyline..
Indeed, promises can be made but for unforeseen circumstances, some people can't because it is dead situation. You know what they are. We have to accept the fact and move on in our lives.

Synopsis:
Painfully shy Todd Anderson has been sent to the school where his popular older brother was valedictorian. His room-mate, Neil, although exceedingly bright and popular, is very much under the thumb of his overbearing father. The two, along with their other friends, meet Professor Keating, their new English teacher, who tells them of the Dead Poets Society, and encourages them to go against the status quo. Each, in their own way, does this, and are changed for life.
Opinions:
Brilliant film showcasting how new english teacher teach students. I simply love
unorthodox teaching style. It simply kept me learning and that is why i never studied for PSLE that hard.With this kind of action, i still went on to pass the PSLE and got myself into Express stream for Secondary school aka high school. Seriously in my humble opinion, orthodox teaching make me stale and that is how i perform in secondary school. A long few hours of talking while we all fucking sit down and listen. That is what it make me idle and dull.
Unfortunately, those kind of teachers who prefer to apply unorthodox teaching are fucking rare.
Thanks God,i met one in my primary school.

Synopsis:
Won-tak’s father Young-gyu is in prison. One day before his release, he suffers a fatal accident. Won-tak and his mother did not like Young-gyu, but they are devastated by the news. At the morgue Young-gyu, who is now a ghost, encounters an angel. He begs to see his family one last time before leaving earth. Moments later, Young-gyu sees himself as a young healthy high school teenager. He immediately goes to his son’s school as a transfer student so he could see his family again and to make up for the wrongs he had done them. Young-gyu makes constant efforts to become friends with his son but it is not easy. What will take place next with this teenage Father and Son?

It is all fathery touch. If i am to be father, i probably encourage my son to chase the dream and not to do bad things.
