Cool,Elvin Ng won an award in Top 10 Male Actors list. But duh...his hairstyle especially spike at the back make him look too thin. Not so brilliant hairstyle.
Gah.I am dreaming of studying the course in UK!It is not just really paper chase but i want to get into a job that i want to lay my hands on stock exchange. One of few things is job shock that is something i am aware of. In that past i never thought of chasing for a degree and understand how the degree system that is based on your performance such as first class,second upper class,second lower class and go on. I am thirsty to get all kind of informations i need to learn in order to understand the stock exchange industry. It is really bloody intriguing to learn and learn until i am close to it.
Everybody is anxious about the exam result. Let me say something. English is really hugh thing that you can emphasis your different various of feelings.
When i say ,"Ok la', i feel that i do not do enough for obtaining A because i know it since i write the exam paper myself.
But i don't exhibit any feeling of being uncertain. Why?I work hard to understand the subject not to chase for the grade.
Each time i discuss about exams with Kar Ho, he really lack of confidence. I can sense but i somehow can't explain how or why prefectly to get you understand. Maybe i was born to have such ability or 'godly' sense to see through your heart/behind the meaning each time you do such action. How to get A huh? Come on,all you need is to understand the subject and write the exam like back of your hand. If i pull this stunt,i can proudly say that i will definately obtain A for this subject. That is how you do it. Not to mention able to answer the level of questions your school provide but as well as toughest level of questions that you may see in the working environment(they are directly linked). If you can do like what i say, you will definately walk through the breeze easily.
I understand that Kar Ho's initial first POM grade may have hit him hard but he managed to get a pass which is enough to let him to move on to semester 2.
Good result from semester 2 exams can be the 'stop' gap for Kar Ho to grow confidence. Let hope this way for him.
Recently,i was watching One Piece Animation from ep 209 to 289. Yuan Xiang claimed that the Going Merry(a small-sized ship) would be found at the back of Water 7(a place) and would be repaired. It made no sense especially when the story between ep 209 to ep 289 already said the hull that is the most important 'spine' for a ship is already broken and cannot be repaired. Why can't it be repaired? It is good as if demantle the lower part of the ship. Yuan Xiang has grown fond of One Piece ever since i introduced it to him. Like the rest of Straw Hat crew,Yuan Xiang who was obviously unable to bear to see Going Merry to 'die' insisted that it couldn't be repaired. The story couldn't change its course suddenly. I already guessed in proper manner saying that Going Merry was going to be broken and Straw Hat crew will get a new ship that would be made by new Straw Hat memeber. With a check on the spoiler, i was proved right. If the story had gone according to Yuan Xiang, the writer of One Piece has to put unrealistic moment like using a God to restore the Going Merry anew(it is fucking impossible and gotta make the story bad)
What i am using this as an example is that people have to let things go although they have sentimental values. What has happened is already happen. People need to accept the facts and then move on.
Sigh, Yuan Xiang need to be a bit more realistic and give things more thought before saying such comments. We have long way to realise what things are going on around the world.

Opinions:
i watch this movie because of the director named M. Night Shyamalan who won few awards for his past movies such as Sixth Sense, Signs and few others more.
I believe that his latest movie may be the worst movie. Obviously, he lost the 'power' to attract audience minds with his trademake moves by offering 'twists' that shock their minds. This time, he failed to stun me as the twists were predictable. So far, this movie is decent fairytale one.

Synopsis:

These unforeseen circumstances render the government powerless to act. But receiving a call of help from Hyun-seo, the once-ordinary citizen Gang-du and his family are thrust into a battle with the monster to rescue their beloved Hyun-seo.

Not too bad movie but lack punch like what Hollywood movies do for Godzilla and Jurassic Park.

Synopsis:
Lincoln Burrows is on death row for the murder of the vice president's brother. He insists he's innocent and only his brother Michael Scofield believes him. He gets himself arrested and sent to the same prison so that with his knowledge of the building the two of them can escape together. However, while inside, Michael discovers a massive conspiracy that is determined to see Lincoln's sentence carried out. Breaking out will be more difficult than he thought, but he's still going to try.

I kept watching it in one whole day. The plot is really brilliant and i am tempted to see Prison Break season 2! I can't wait..DVD DVD!

Synopsis:
The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family.

It was considered one of the best 100 movies today. I checked it out and i found this old film is up to my taste even though the colour is close to black and white picture. Nothing special because i wasn't born to be gangster for this normal rating. *laughing out loud*

I can't see why this part 2 is being rated higher than part 1 by some of reviewers.
Not too bad movie out there.

Opinions:
Less violent but the massare is a bit similar from part 1.

The Patriot(Hollywood Movie 2000)
Synopsis:
It is late 18th century South Carolina. Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson) is a veteran of the French and Indian Wars and a widower raising seven children on his farm. Gabriel, the eldest, played by Heath Ledger, is anxious to join the American forces fighting the British in the Revolutionary War, without his father's permission. Martin, who knows from first-hand experience the horrifying carnage that war presents, is anxious to discourage his son from participating. Against his father's wishes, Gabriel does join up only to return home wounded as he is carrying dispatches between commanders. Martin's second son is killed trying to free Gabriel as he is taken prisoner which forces Martin to first free his son with the help of his two younger sons and then join up. Martin takes the battle to the British, leading his ragtag band of farmers and ex-Indian fighters as the Americans defeat the British and he gets his revenge on the one who killed his sons.
Opinions:
Superb sound coupled with exciting action in the scenario when the country was trying to become as United States Of America. I simply loved the strategies how Benjamin Martin attacked his former army, British.

Crimson Tide(Hollywood Movie 1995)
Synopsis:
In the near future, Russian rebels have taken over one of the ICBM bases in the USSR. Alarmed by the prospect of a rebel strike, the U.S. sends the U.S.S. Alabama, a nuclear ballistic submarine, to watch over the base and retaliate in case they launch. While on patrol, the submarine is attacked and the radio systems are knocked out. An emergency message received during the battle is only partially recovered. Captain Ramsey believes it to be the order to launch on the rebels, while XO Hunter wants to wait for a confirmation message. The conflict escalates into mutiny as Ramsey and Hunter fight for control of the Alabama's nuclear missiles.
Opinions:
I happen to know this movie because it was taken as an example of legitimate power the Organizational Behavior textbook talked about. Out of curiousity,i bought this unrated verison dvd set and i was thrilled how the XO challenged Captain.

I have gotten to know this movie when my friend demo-ed his home theater with this movie to show how capable his SVS subwoofer can produce for the power of bass.
After seeing this movie,i began to notice the difference between old-fashioned disel-powered submarine and modern submarine. Best part is to see U.S marine officers fighting hard with german submarine that has no missle to evade away the german destroyer.

Synopsis:
Self-made billionaire Thomas Crown is bored of being able to buy everything he desires. Being irresistible to women, he also does not feel any challenge in that area. But there are a few things even he can't get, therefore Thomas Crown has a seldom hobby: He steals priceless masterpieces of Art. After the theft of a famous painting from Claude Monet, the only person suspecting Thomas Crown is Catherine Banning. Her job is to get the picture back, no matter how she accomplishes her mission. Unfortunately, Catherine gets involved too deeply with Thomas to keep a professional distance to the case. Fortunately, Thomas seems to fall for her, too.
Opinions:
Thanks to Hady and Vishal for lending this movie few weeks ago. I was so impressed with this Thomas dude and his unbelieveable action. Ending should have justified a bit more.
