Day 15 of Overseas Trip 2016
In the early morning of Day 15, there was drizzle. Fortunately, I reached McDonald just outside Omiya station for breakfast.

Thereafter, I queue up early for my reserved seat of Shinkansen.

Where am I going to?

I arrived Sendai station in few hours later! It was relatively easy to locate the host's home and left my backpack there so that I am heading to Zuihoden Mausoleum.

I am still walking to Zuihoden Mausoleum. Sendai appears to be less city place compared to Tokyo.
Finally, about 30 minutes later from host's home, I found Zuihoden Mausoleum. There is a need to walk on that upwards road as there is the gate of Zuihoden Mausoleum.

Nice decoration shrine there.

I took about 1 hour to explore Zuihoden Mausoleum.

After that, I took around 1 hour to walk from Zuihoden Mausoleum to Sendai Castle. Very steep hill walk.

It is truly worthwhile to walk on the hill.

Castle barriers were sighted. I didn't realised that the Sendai castle was demolished. This picture depicts the remains of Sendai castle. It is the consequence of me not being reading properly beforehand.

Nevertheless, I get to see aerial view of Sendai. Magnificent view.

After that, I walked down the hill and took another 1 hour to locate Sendai Mediatheque. It is easy to explore Sendai than Shinjuku due to straightforward road paths.

I am not sure if I can appreciate such art of this building itself.

End of the day, I had gyutan for early dinner. It is food specialty of Sendai.

End of Day 15.
