Day 16 of Overseas Trip 2016
In Sendai, it was unfortunate to discover that there was heavy rain in the early morning. Fortunately, I brought umbrella and water proof/resistant shoes.
I managed to reach Sendai station with no problem. I was taking shinkansen from Sendai to Shin-Hakodate-Hakuto. It is the maximum that shinkansen can bring you to north of Japan. JR Hokkaido has the plan to extend the shinkansen route to Sapporo in few years later.
Finally, it is easy to transfer from shinkansen point to normal train point. In this case, I had to take limited express from Shin-Hakodate-Hakuto to Sapporo. Little wonder, it is slow and long train ride! I was so sleepy at that time. The limited express train does take you to see seas and beautiful mountains during that aforementioned route.
At Hokkaido, it is colder than other parts of Japan. Finally, it is about 3 hours ride to reach Sapporo.
I managed to locate ramen shop, 10 minutes walk from Sapporo station before it officially close.
Ah, it is delicious. Sapporo ramen has tastier soup booth than ramens of other parts of Japan.
This clock tower was easily located along the way from Sapporo JR station to host's home.
Sapporo tower was sighted. This location is great place for running along the park there.
It took me 1 hr 30 mins to walk from ramen shop to host's home. I choose this host's home because it is close to Mount Moiwa.
Finally, I easily found the host's home. The host was so kind to offer her homemade cake and dessert. Very natural taste.
The host was kind enough to make a call so as to enqiure whether it is ok to walk to Mount Moiwa without cable.
I went to the spot where I can take free bus to bring me to the place where it offers cable car services.
Excellent. There is timetable for us to know whether the bus is actually coming.
It is quite costly to spend money on cable car to bring me to Mount Moiwa. Breathtaking aerial view of Sapporo.
It is the place where you ring the bell.
End of Day 16. On the next day, I am still in Sapporo.

Rating: 10/10
Remark: The storyboard from episode 1 to episode 16 is well designed. Key information were hidden in one episode and then revealed in another episode. As a result, there are a lot of story twist.
